Man wanted for shooting at Fresno apartment complex
Fresno police are looking for a man who on Tuesday fired gunshots at an apartment complex in central Fresno, the police department said.
The suspect is described as an African American man in his early teens or 20s, around 6 feet tall, of medium build and with dreadlocks.
The suspect vehicle reportedly parked in front of the two-story apartment complex in the 2400 block of East Peralta Way. After the vehicle – an older light-colored Pontiac or Buick – came to a stop, the suspect got out of the left rear passenger door and fired numerous shots at the apartment building, Fresno police said.
The suspect then got back into the vehicle and the vehicle fled westbound on Peralta Way. No one were struck by gunfire, police said.
Officers are unsure whether the shooting was gang-related.
