Three gang members arrested in Visalia
Two men were arrested in Visalia on weapons charges, while a third was arrested for an outstanding warrant, just after midnight on Feb. 14, Visalia police said.
Jonathan Ramos, 18, and Armando Zuniga, 25, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a loaded handgun. Anthony Alvarez, 20, was arrested for a warrant.
Just after midnight on Feb. 14, officers went to a house at the 2400 block of North Oak Park Street in Visalia. Officer saw Ramos and Zuniga go into the backyard, Visalia police said, and later found a loaded handgun where the two men were seen.
In the garage, police found Alvarez, who was wanted for cutting off his GPS monitor.
The three men are members of the Norteño gang, Visalia police said. They were booked into the Tulare County Jail.
