Hanford man arrested after road rage crash
A man was arrested after a traffic accident, and Hanford police said he intentionally rammed his car into a truck during an apparent road rage incident on Saturday.
Hanford police responded to the area of 12th Avenue and Liberty Street at 4:17 p.m. for a reported traffic accident.
Police said that Rogelio Rodriguez, 45, of Hanford, was cut off in traffic at 12th Avenue and Lacey Boulevard and then followed the victim to Liberty Street where he rammed his 2015 Chrysler 200 into the victim’s 1998 Ford F-150.
After his truck was rammed, the victim’s vehicle swerved off the road and hit the curb, police said.
The collision caused moderate damage to the driver side of the victim’s truck.
Rodriguez was booked into Kings County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.
