Man wanted in Madera Acres stabbing

A man is wanted by Madera County sheriff’s deputies for his involvement in a stabbing that occurred around 1 p.m. on Feb. 10, the Madera County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The suspect is described as a white man named John. He was reported to have fled the scene driving a red four-door vehicle, possibly a Chrysler or Buick.

Deputies were dispatched to a house near the 18000 block of Ridgedale Drive in Madera Acres shortly after 1 p.m. The victim was driven away from the home by an acquaintance to seek medical care, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

The victim was later taken to a Fresno hospital and is expected to recover.

Detectives have not determined the relationship between the suspect and victim but believe the two were acquaintances, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
