Reward for information on Easton double homicide increased

Valley Crime Stoppers has increased the reward to $3,000 for information concerning a Jan. 29 double homicide near Easton, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.

Around 11:40 p.m. on Jan. 29, officers were dispatched to a home at the 7200 block of Orange Avenue regarding gunshots. A party of around 100 to 125 teenagers and young adults was occurring at the house, the sheriff’s office said.

Kayla DeBorde, 19, and William Harris, 17, were killed. A third gunshot victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives have collected some video from the party, the sheriff’s office said, but is asking the public to turn over pictures and video for their investigation. No arrests have been made.

The shooting marked the seventh and eighth homicides, and fourth double homicide, in Fresno County this year.

There was a total of nine homicides in Fresno County in 2015.
