Fresno police recover stolen medical van

Fresno police arrested a man who reportedly was at the wheel of a stolen medical van Tuesday in northwest Fresno.

Sgt. Doug Goertzen of the department’s auto theft team said detectives in the area of Weber and Weldon avenues spotted the van, which had been stolen in northwest Fresno.

The van was followed to Hughes and Michigan avenues, where John Black, 48, was taken into custody.
