Police made a third arrest Wednesday in connection with a series of northwest Fresno strong-arm robberies believed to have been carried out by three women.

Suspect Amanda Rose was located by officers from the Northwest Violent Crime Impact Team at a residence in the 3400 block of North Brawley Avenue, police Sgt. Diana M. Trueba said. Rose was taken into custody on one count of strong armed robbery, one count of probation violation and an outstanding warrant from Tuolumne County for receiving stolen property.
