Fresno man on most wanted auto theft list arrested

A man listed on Fresno’s most wanted auto theft list was arrested in southeast Fresno Saturday after police responded to a domestic violence call, police said.

Police arrived at Maple and Mono avenues and found Angel Barajas, 19, and his girlfriend. Officers recognized him as being listed on Fresno’s “Southeast Most Wanted Auto Theft” list, police said.

Barajas was booked into Fresno County Jail on suspicion of two outstanding stolen car warrants and domestic violence.
