Fresno police name 10 most wanted auto theft suspects in southeast district

In an effort to reduce auto-theft plaguing southeast Fresno, the Fresno Police Department has released a list of the top 10 most-wanted auto theft suspects in the area.

Southeast Fresno averages around 4.2 cars stolen per day, the department says. In the past month, 106 cars were stolen in the area.

Police say auto thefts are down in the past two weeks, with 20 arrests made since the New Year, and they hope to continue that trend by providing the public with the identities of auto thefts suspects.

They area: Ye Vang, 29, Anna Guerra, 43, Jerry Tolentino, 26, See Lee, 24, Angel Barajas, 19, Maria Martinez, 29, Luis Valdez, 21, Rogelio Anguiano, 39, Melissa Valencia, 39, and Steven Flores, 23.
