Two shot in Tulare County near Earlimart Elementary School

Two people were shot Friday evening in Earlimart near Franklin Avenue and Church Street around 5 p.m., just one block south of Earlimart Elementary School, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office reports.

One victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital and another was taken by ground ambulance. Deputies are on scene investigating. No further information was immediately available.
