Two men arrested in central Fresno for 2015 murder
Two men were arrested Thursday for allegedly stabbing a man to death in central Fresno last June, Fresno police said.
Thomas Carrisales, 26, and his brother, Jerry Leos, 20, both known gang members, were arrested in the 1700 block of Dayton Avenue by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. The two men allegedly stabbed 31-year-old Manuel Moreno repeatedly in the parking lot of Hunter Place Apartments in central Fresno around 5 a.m. on June 3.
The victim was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Moreno did not live at the apartment complex, and was confronted in the parking lot by the assailants, police said.
Carrisales and Leos were booked into Fresno County Jail for one count of murder.
