Gang member arrested in Fresno at wheel of stolen Honda

A gang member was arrested Tuesday after members of the Fresno Police Department’s auto theft team spotted him at the wheel of a stolen 1998 Honda Civic, Sgt. Doug Goertzen reported.

Goertzen said officers saw Martin Gonzalez, 25, driving in the area of Griffith and West avenues and a check of the license plate on the Honda revealed that it had been stolen in northwest Fresno. Gonzalez was arrested in the 200 block of West Robinson Avenue and booked into Fresno County Jail.
