A man who fired a bullet into his neighbor’s home early Wednesday in central Fresno was arrested by Fresno police.

Officers were sent to the 3000 block of North Sherwood Drive, where neighbors reported that the man came to their home and said he fired the gunshot at their house because they were watching him and planning to do him harm. Juan Almaraz, 46, was booked on charges of negligent discharge of a firearm and assault with a deadly weapon. Officers also recovered a .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
