Gang-related shooting in Hanford leaves man in critical condition
A Hanford man is in critical condition after getting shot during a gang fight on Dec. 23, police said.
Hanford police responded to the 400 block of North Redington Street around 6 p.m. for a report of a gang fight with gunshots heard. They couldn’t find any victims at the scene.
A 20-year-old man arrived moments later at Adventist Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers went to the hospital to speak with the victim as a perimeter was set around the area of Redington and Center streets to search for evidence.
The victim was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno and was listed in critical condition.
Police believe the shooting was gang related.
