Christmas brawl ends in stabbing in central Fresno
A Christmas celebration ended in a stabbing Friday night in Central Fresno, where the victim left a bloody trail down Illinois Street between Jackson and Barton avenues as he fled.
A 30-year-old male was stabbed in his chest when a family altercation broke out around 7 p.m., said Fresno Police Department Lt. Ron Hughes.
One person has been arrested, but Hughes had no further information on the status of the victim, who was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.
The case remains under investigation.
