Parlier police need help identifying suspect
The Parlier Police Department needs the public’s help in finding a man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman downtown on Dec. 19.
Around 7 p.m. that evening, a woman walking home was approached by a man driving a minivan near First and J streets.
The man forced the victim into the car at gunpoint, drove her to a rural location south of the city and assaulted her.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned Hispanic man in his mid-20s. He is described as about 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a thin, muscular build. He had dark-brown hair and brown eyes.
The suspect’s car is described as a newer-model, dark-colored minivan, possibly dark green. The car had four doors and tinted rear windows.
