2 arrested, 1 sought in Selma shooting
Two Selma residents were arrested and a third suspect is being sought by police for their alleged involvement in a shooting on Dec. 10.
Bryan Saldivar, 21, and Michael Madrid, 20, were arrested by Selma Police with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Adult Compliance Team. They were charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery and crimes involving gang activity.
Jaime Mojica, 30, remains at large and is wanted by Selma Police.
Selma Police got reports of gunshots near Second and Sylvia streets at 8:50 p.m. Dec. 10.
At the scene, officers found one victim with gunshot wounds. A second victim was located at Selma Community Hospital. The motive for the shooting was reported to be an attempted robbery.
