2 teens arrested in gang shooting in southwest Fresno
Two teens were arrested after a gang shooting Tuesday in southeast Fresno left one man with a gunshot to his shoulder. A vehicle driving by during the shooting was peppered as well.
Jamere Harris, 19, and a 16-year-old juvenile, both known gang members, were arrested on Tuesday near Belmont Avenue and First Street after allegedly opening fire on the victim around 1 p.m., firing two handguns before fleeing. The victim was transported to Community Regional Medical Center.
Harris and the juvenile were later booked into Fresno County Jail on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
