Hanford man wanted in knife attack

A man who attacked his ex-wife’s friend is on the loose and is considered armed and dangerous, Hanford police said.

About 2 a.m. Tuesday, Fabian Carnero, 39, forced his way through a bedroom window into his ex-wife’s home, police said.

He confronted a man in the home and stabbed him several times with a large military-style knife, lacerating the man’s upper tricep to the bone and also cutting his thigh.

The victim ran and Carnero chased him. After he collapsed in the driveway, Carnero kicked him in the chest and head before driving away.

The victim lost a lot of blood and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for surgery.

Carnero fled in 2013 Brown Nissan Altima, California licesne plate 7LCR008, and is known to frequent Hanford and Lemoore.
