Pajama Pants Bandit caught on camera again at Fresno car wash

NotA burglar suspected in two crimes earlier this month stole the cash drawer from a northeast Fresno car cash this week, police said.

Police released security camera footage from the break-in. As in the earlier burglaries, suspect wore loose pajama pants and wielded a long crowbar.

On Dec. 13, the man used the crowbar to break into Surf Thru Express Car Wash on the 4100 block of North First Street. With a cigarette dangling from his mouth, the suspect tore the cash drawer off a countertop then stole away.

He is suspected of stealing checks from an office at Maple Grove apartments in southeast Fresno and attempting to break into a Century 21 real estate office in northwest Fresno. Both incidents happened Dec. 7.

He is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and about 140 pounds with a shaved head. In addition to the pajama pants, he wears blue latex gloves, gray tennis shoes and a black Raiders jacket.
