Shooting briefly closes northbound Highway 41 in downtown Fresno
Highway 41 north was closed Sunday morning for about an hour as police investigated a shooting in downtown Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol announced the road closure, between highways 99 and 180, just past 10 a.m. The onramps to Highway 41 were also closed, including Broadway Street, M Street and Tulare Avenue.
Highway 41 reopened just after 11 a.m.
CHP spokesman Axel Reyes said a shooting on Highway 41, which was related to a previous shooting, closed down the highway. He said Fresno Police Department is investigating.
