A man wanted in connection with the July death of a Tracy woman was returned Monday from Southern California to Fresno County Jail.

Kaleo Schreiner, 21, wanted in the death of Megan Troen, 20, was arrested in August in El Monte on a rape charge and was held there until this week. At the time, he was sought in connection with the disappearance of Troen, whose body was found July 30 by workers in the California Aqueduct near Nees Avenue and Interstate 5 in the Firebaugh area. Authorities said Schreiner and Troen were in a relationship at one time before breaking up. Troen left her Tracy home with Schreiner on July 20 and never returned.

No court date has been set for Schreiner in Fresno Superior Court.
