‘Rolling robber’ sought by Fresno police
A man dubbed the “Rolling Robber” by Fresno police is wanted in connection with a shoplifting incident that escalated into an armed robbery Sunday at a Walmart in southeast Fresno.
Sgt. Mark Hudson identified the suspect as Marc Apodaca, 29, whom security officers spotted in the store in the 5100 block of East Kings Canyon Boulevard. He is captured concealing merchandise in his clothing while rolling down several aisles in a motorized chair.
Outside the store, the store officers confronted Apodaca, who reportedly pulled a 6-inch knife and threatened to stab them. Apodaca then jumped from the chair, folded it up and ran from the location. He is sought on armed robbery charges.
