Parlier police seek suspected child predator

Parlier police Thursday issued a warning to be on the lookout for the driver of a light-colored pickup who tried to lure two boys into his truck.

The boys, 7 and 11, were approached about 7:50 a.m. near Tuolumne and Erica avenues by a male in his 30s wearing a black cap and jacket. He promised them cookies. One of the boys took a photo of the truck. Police are working to enhance the license plate. Anyone with information is asked to call 559-646-6600.
