Line cutting causes brawl inside central Fresno Family Dollar

Four suspects were arrested after a fight broke out in Family Dollar, near Marks and Ashlan avenues, over cutting in line Saturday around 4:30 p.m.

According to police the male victim, 46, was in line with his girlfriend when four suspects cut in line while trying to pay for their items. The male victim told the suspects there was a line and the four suspects became agitated, said police.

The suspects Willie Price, 19, Keiwan Reed, 18 and Shekebria Price, 25, allegedly attacked the male victim as he fell to the floor. Keiwan Reed allegedly snuck up behind the victim and hit him in the face, causing the victim to fall, said police.

The male victim sustained a 2 inch laceration below the left eye, a broken nose and redness to the upper torso area, said police.

The female victim was allegedly punched in the face by Earlene Bass, 50, said police.

Both victims were treated by emergency medical personnel at the scene and released.

Willie Price, Keiwan Reed and Shekebria Price were charged on suspicion of Battery with great bodily injury and booked at the Fresno County Jail for the related offenses.

Earlene Bass was processed at the Fresno Police Department and released with a citation for misdemeanor Battery on a person.
