Party-goers fired on in central Fresno drive-by shooting
An early morning party in central Fresno ended in gunfire Sunday when an unknown vehicle opened fire on more than 10 people in a garage, hitting two, police said.
Lt. Joey Alvarez said that a black car opened fire on the party-goers around 1 a.m. near the 4000 block of East Richert Avenue, near Cedar and Ashlan avenues. One man and one woman were struck in the leg and rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where they were later released.
Officers are still investigating, but have no further information on the case at this time.
