Man shot multiple times in central Fresno

A man was hospitalized after getting shot multiple times in central Fresno on Wednesday, the Fresno Police Department said.

Officers responded to a call at 9:44 p.m. and found a male victim in his 20s on the 1800 block of Saginaw Way near Blackstone Avenue. Police rendered first aid, and the victim was transported Community Regional Medical Center. The victim is in serious but stable condition.

Officers and detectives are on the scene conducting an investigation.
