Fresno County sheriff’s detectives arrested two people who they say robbed a Caruthers man during a prostitution act.

Spokesman Tony Botti said the victim visited the area of Parkway Drive and Belmont Avenue in Fresno Oct. 25 to find a prostitute. He met a woman, later identified as Danecke George, 30, of Fresno. She asked him to go to a nearby motel, but he refused, saying he was afraid of being robbed.

The two agreed to drive to his home near West Avenue and Henderson Road in Caruthers. During the drive, George called someone on the phone, Botti said.

As the two were having sex, a man entered the home, pushed the victim to the ground and choked him, Botti said. George and the man then ran out of the home with the victim’s wallet, which held a large amount of cash.

Detectives went back to the Parkway and Belmont area and found George, who was interviewed and later arrested.

The Sheriff’s Office said Andre Madison, 38, of Fresno, was George’s pimp and committed the robbery. He was arrested Oct. 26.

The victim was not hurt and no charges were filed against him.
