Woman hit by car in northeast Fresno
A woman is in stable but critical condition after being hit by a car Thursday in northeast Fresno, police said.
The accident happened shortly before 7 p.m. as the car was traveling south on Blackstone Avenue south of Herndon Avenue, police said.
The woman, 53, was wearing dark clothing when she walked into traffic for an unknown reason, police said.
No other information was immediately available.
