A home in central Fresno that police say was a nexus for crime activity was targeted Wednesday afternoon by officers who arrested 10 people.
Sgt. Mark Hudson said officers served a warrant in the 600 block of North Fisher Avenue after an investigation prompted by neighbors’ complaints of gambling, prostitution, narcotics sales and gunfire.
Officers found 31 people inside the 1,000-square-foot home and arrested 10 on various felony charges that included an outstanding firearm warrant, a warrant for being a wanted parolee at large and multiple violations of felony probation. One-half pound of marijuana for sale was also in the building.
