Fresno County sheriff’s deputies and Clovis police are searching for two, or possibly three, suspects after two home invasion robberies northeast of Fresno Wednesday morning.

Mountain View Elementary School in the 2000 block of East Alluvial Avenue was locked down while deputies with dogs and the sheriff’s helicopter searched the surrounding area of two separate robberies.

The Clovis robbery took place in the 600 block of North Gateway Avenue about 8 a.m. Clovis police spokeswoman said armed suspects smashed a rear window of the home while the victims were asleep. They were wearing hoodies and bandanas and took property including a rifle. The rifle has been recovered.

As second incident took place in the 7400 block of North Paula Avenue.
