Fresno man gets 10 years for sex trafficking of teen

A Fresno man was sentenced Monday to over 10 years in prison for sex trafficking of a minor after using Facebook to lure a 16-year-old girl from her Modesto home.

Tryvell Powell, 34, plead guilty on July 27 after a relative of the girl reported seeing pictures of the teen in an online advertisement for prostitution. Powell had convinced the girl to come to Fresno, where she engaged in sex acts with strangers for Powell’s monetary benefit.
