An argument at the Los Arcos Bar in downtown Fresno ended in gunfire early Saturday, with the suspect fleeing in a silver BMW.
Fresno police arrested Manuel Trejo-Barragan, 25, after he shot at two other parties as they drove away from the bar on Fresno and E streets around 2:30 a.m. No one was injured, but officers recovered one spent casing in the parking lot and a second spent casing in the BMW. A loaded semi-automatic pistol was also found under the driver’s seat of the BMW.
Trejo-Barragan was arrested on suspicion of felony reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of an unregistered handgun and carrying a loaded, concealed handgun inside a vehicle.
The Fresno Police Department has initiated the felon with a gun program that offers a $500 reward for information that leads to firearm-related arrests. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 559-498-STOP.
