Man sought in central Fresno stabbing that put man in hospital

Police are looking for a man who stabbed another man in central Fresno Monday, the Fresno Police Department said.

The attack happened around 6:10 p.m. near Olive and Floradora avenues.

The suspect approached the victim near the victim’s car. Witnesses told police that the suspect said something like “nice car,” and then he punched the victim and stabbed him one time.

The suspect is identified as Hispanic, about 6-feet tall and between 25 and 30 years old. He fled the scene.

The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with non-lethal injuries.
