Earlimart Elementary employee attacked at school
Authorities arrested a man for attacking an employee at Earlimart Elementary School on Monday, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department said.
Deputies responded to the school just after 3 p.m. and found a victim of an assault incoherent and not speaking.
The victim was taken to a local hospital.
Witnesses gave deputies a description of the suspect.
Charles Barnes, 31, was later arrested on suspicion of assault and battery and booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
