Police investigate southeast Fresno shooting report
Police are investigating a possible shooting Wednesday morning in southeast Fresno at Peach and Belmont avenues.
Lt. Joe Gomez said officers were called about 8:30 a.m. to the neighborhood, where a worker found a man lying in a parking lot with a wound between his eyes. He had lost a lot of blood.
However, officers said no one reported hearing a gunshot, so investigators are trying to determine what occurred.
The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.
