FBI asking for help to locate missing Washington boys
The FBI is asking the public’s help to find two missing minors from Bellevue, Washington.
Sage Cook, 15, and Isaac Cook, 9 were last seen on Friday, Aug. 28, at Los Angeles International Airport. Investigators say the boys may be traveling with their mother, Faye Ku, 41, and their toddler half-brother Zephyr Ku.
Ku may have forged a supervised visit court order to get the boys’ father, who has had full custody of the boys since 2014, to send them to California for a visit. Ku left behind personal belongings at her California home that could have helped law enforcement track her whereabouts, along with a letter blaming the children’s father for trying to control them and asking to be left alone.
This wasn’t the first time the boy’s mother has tried to flee with her children. In 2013, Ku attempted to leave the country with Sage and Isaac. They were detained by a local law enforcement agency before they were able to board a flight to Taiwan. Ku was arrested and charged with custodial interference.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers may remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to the resolution of this case.
