Firebaugh man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder
A Firebaugh man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder Wednesday after he attacked two of his family members in his home, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.
Officers don’t know what kind of weapon Gerardo Salazar used when he allegedly attacked his two male relatives at his home on Allardt Drive around 5 a.m. Wednesday, nor the motive for the attack.
Salazar had attempted to barricade himself inside his garage, but officers were able to arrest him shortly after without incident.
Both men are listed in critical condition at CRMC.
