Man killed in Dunlap marijuana robbery identified

The man killed Monday during a marijuana robbery near Dunlap has been identified as Tomas Juarez, 32, of Parlier.

A gang member, Juarez had an extensive criminal history, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Before deputies arrived at the scene, residents of the home and robbers confronted one another and shots were fired. Juarez was then run over by someone driving a pickup.

Three arrests have been made in the case, but no homicide charges have been filed. The case is under investigation.
