New video: Fresno County sheriff’s deputies seek Easton bank robber
Fresno County sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help to find a man who robbed a Westamerica Bank in Easton Tuesday morning.
About 9:30 a.m., the man walked into the Westamerica Bank branch at 5751 S. Elm Ave. and handed the teller a note demanding money. The robber, holding a gun, was given an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the bank.
The robber is described as a black or Hispanic man, 35 to 45 years old, about 5-foot-7 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was wearing a long-sleeve plaid shirt, dark colored jeans, a tan beret hat and black square-shaped eye glasses.
He was last seen traveling west on West Fantz Avenue in a white four-door car, possibly a Chevy Sonic or Cruze.
