Teen arrested after shooting west of Highway 99 in Fresno
A 17-year-old Fresno youth was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and firearm violations on Saturday night in west of Highway 99, Fresno police said.
The suspect was with three other males ages 15 to 20 when he fired into a gold Chevy Tahoe SUV on Clinton and Cornelia avenues, said police. Officers searched the apartment the suspects were in and found guns and ammunition, police said.
The minor had been arrested nearby two weeks earlier in a disturbance and had a gun, according to police.
The female tenant was arrested on a felony warrant. Her name was not available Sunday.
No shooting victim was found.
The motive for the incident was unknown on Sunday.
