Felon arrested with loaded shotgun in central Fresno home

A convicted felon is back in jail after a shotgun was found in his central Fresno home Friday, the Fresno Police Department said.

Police responded to the area of Diana Street and Dayton Avenue just before 6 p.m. after getting information that the man had a gun.

Russell Sacra, 52, was arrested after officers found a loaded 12-gauge shotgun inside the home, police said. He was booked into Fresno County Jail on felony firearms and ammunition possession charges.
