Carjackers take Visalia man’s vehicle

A man who attempted to stop a car theft early Friday was robbed of his vehicle at gunpoint, Visalia police reported.

The carjacking took place at Cecil Avenue and Chinowth Street about 1:50 a.m. Police said two males stole the car; one brandished a handgun when the owner confronted the pair, who drove away.
