Two sought in armed robbery of Lemoore pizza shop
Two people robbed a pizza shop in Lemoore on Tuesday; one held the cashier at gunpoint and the other put a knife to an employees throat, the Lemoore Police Department said.
Police responded to Boston House of Pizza at 19th Avenue and Bush Street just before 9:30 a.m.
One of the suspects had a rifle or shotgun and forced the employee to open the register, police said. The second suspect took a knife from another employee who was preparing to work in the kitchen and held it to her throat.
After taking the money from the register, they left and got into a red vehicle that was waiting outside.
One suspect is described as African-American and the other as light-skinned African-American or Hispanic. Both were about 5-foot-8 and between 150 and 170 pounds.
Video surveillance showed that one was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with khaki colored pants. The other was wearing all black clothing and also a white hockey mask that concealed his face.
Surveillance cameras in the area were able to capture images of the suspect vehicle.
The vehicle is described as a 2004 to 2010 red four-door sedan with tinted windows and a spoiler on the trunk. The suspects were last seen leaving driving north on 19th Avenue.
