Fresno shooting victim identified

A man killed in a shooting at the MeKhong Restaurant in central Fresno on Saturday was identified as Albert Thao, 27, the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner said Monday afternoon.

The shooting, which seriously wounded a second man, happened about 6:30 p.m. at the restaurant on Belmont and Diana avenues. The survivor was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Police said the shooter is believed to be a black male driving a dark gray Dodge Charger.
