Fresno massage parlor hit by robbers posing as health inspectors, carrying machetes

Fresno police are looking for two men who posed as health inspectors and robbed a nmassage parlor on Sunday.

One suspect showed a false Fresno County Health Department ID card to workers at the massage parlor, located on the 1600 block of East Shields Avenue, near Blackstone Avenue, and said he and a partner were there to inspect the business.

Upon being allowed into the waiting room, both suspects pulled out machetes and demanded money and cellphones from employees.

The suspects fled in a light-colored four-door vehicle. Both suspects are white males between 25 and 30 years old. One suspect is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a ponytail and was wearing a white shirt and dark pants. The other suspect is about 6 feet tall, with short hair. He was wearing a similar outfit.
