Earlimart man gets 109 years in prison for child molestation

A Earlimart man was sentenced to 109 years to life in state prison for child molestation on Wednesday, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said.

Adalberto Macias Gomez, 38, was previously convicted in April of 12 counts of forcible lewd acts on a child under 14, four counts of lewd acts on a child 14 years or older, one count of aggravated sexual assault sodomy on a child under 14 and one count of sodomy by use of force on a child 14 or older.

The convictions are considered violent felonies and occurred between 2010 and 2014 in the Earlimart area against a single female victim, said police.
