Clovis man arrested for illegal firearm possession

Ekaree Young, 23, of Clovis, was arrested Friday for violating his parole while carrying a loaded firearm, the Clovis Police Department said.

Young had been driving near Clovis and Barstow avenues when officers pulled him over, discovering a loaded firearm with a high capacity magazine. The firearm, police say, had been stolen out of Las Vegas.

Young was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
