Early morning drug store heist ends in four arrests
Four suspects were arrested Thursday morning after Clovis police said they burglarized a Script Life Pharmacy in Clovis, stealing thousands of dollars in prescription drugs.
Nathaniel Martinez, 22, Carlos Martinez, 19, Alyssa Gonzales, 18, and an underage juvenile were arrested at the pharmacy at Villa and Herndon Avenues around 5 a.m. after employees from a neighboring Sleep Center called the Clovis Police Department, hearing suspicious noises from the building nearby.
The adults were arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary, stealing prescription medicine and illegal transportation and sales. The juvenile was booked into Juvenile Hall, and the adults were booked into the Fresno County Jail.
Surveillance cameras captured the thieves on video along with their white Dodge Charger. Clovis police recovered the stolen medicine.
