A Fresno man was stabbed three times Sunday night after confronting two males in the alley near his central Fresno home, according to police.
Police say the victim suspected the men of breaking into a vacant house near Divisadero and Effie streets and went into the alley to investigate.
After a verbal confrontation, one male pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in his arm and rib cage, police said.
The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and is expected to make a full recovery, police said.
No suspects were in custody Sunday night.
